Yellow crookneck, patty pan, tromboncino. Same culture as zucchini — direct sow, two sowings for borer dodge.
Care
Watch for squash vine borer. Nasturtiums and radishes around the perimeter help with pest pressure.
Harvest
Yellow squash at 5–6", patty pan at 3–4" — smaller and younger for the best texture.
Shredded and frozen; grilled slices frozen; relish.
