Self-pollinating — one tree produces fruit. Higher pest management needs than apples or pears.

Care

Spray sulfur for leaf curl. Protect trunk from borers with window screen. Thin fruit to 6" apart at pea-size.

Harvest

When fully colored and yields to gentle pressure. Very short window — pick daily.

Preserve

Canned in syrup, frozen sliced, jam, chutney, dried, brandy peaches.
